From the County DED Office: " Germantown-based Amarex Clinical Research recently announced the initiation of a five-year, exclusive service agreement with the China Association for Pharmaceutical Equipment (CAPE) of Beijing, P.R. China. Under the agreement Amarex will provide Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) compliance consulting services to CAPE member companies.  The service is intended to help CAPE member companies get their pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities in compliance with the U.S. FDA GMP requirements. Compliance with FDA GMP standards is a requirement for pharmaceutical manufacturers to be able to sell drug products manufactured in their facilities into the U.S. market.
