Samantha Shank, of Dallas-based Prism Hotels & Resorts, has been recognized in Hotel Management Magazine’s inaugural “Thirty Under 30” Awards as an emerging leader in the hotel industry. Shank serves as the Director of Sales at Prism’s Holiday Inn Cumberland Hotel in Cumberland, Md. Prism Vice President of Operations Rhonda Dye made the announcement.

Before joining Prism in 2009 as a catering manager, Shank worked for four years as a manager for Alfred Angelo Bridal.  She earned her bachelor’s in mass communication from Frostburg State University in Frostburg, Md.

“Samantha not only delivers measurable results, she also knows what attracts hotel visitors from her generation, making her an invaluable asset to our sales team,” said Dye. “We are proud of her for this notable achievement and look forward to the great work she’ll continue to bring to the hotel industry.”
