Crime Summary: Robber Cut Alleged Victim at Church

The following arrest information was supplied by the Montgomery County Police Department for Montgomery County's 5th District. It does not indicate a conviction.

Police arrested a 25-year-old Germantown man following an aggravated assault reported in the 11700 block of Doxdam Terrace in Germantown on Monday, Dec. 19, at 6 p.m. Police said the alleged victim was threatened with a knife. 

An attempted burglary was reported in the 11300 block of Appledowre Way in Germantown at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 13. Police said the suspect was a 17- to 20-year-old male between 5’8” and 5’11” tall.

Police said a knife-wielding robber cut an alleged victim at St. Paul Catholic Church in Damascus at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 14. The suspect is described as a 32- to 37-year-old male between 5’7”-5’8” tall at 170 to 180 pounds.

Four people were arrested following a residential burglary reported in the 19500 block of Crystal Rock Drive in Germantown on Wednesday, Dec. 14. Police said there were signs of forced entry but no property was taken. Police arrested a 20-year-old woman from Rockville; a 28-year-old man and a 21-year-old man from Germantown; and a 21-year-old man from Gaithersburg.

A burglary was reported at the Cherry Knolls Apartment Complex, 18832 Bent Willow Circle in Germantown, between Saturday, Dec. 10, and Monday, Dec. 12.

A residential burglary was reported in the 18900 block of Highstream Drive in Germantown on Monday, Dec. 19, between 8:51 and 10:15 a.m.
