Crime Summary: Sex Assault, Burglaries

The following arrest information was supplied by the Montgomery County Police Department for Montgomery County's 5th District. It does not indicate a conviction.

 

Sex Assault

  • On Jan. 3, a sex assault was reported on the 19500 block of Crystal Rock Drive. The assault occurred sometime between 12:15 a.m. and 2 a.m. The victim knew the suspect.

Robbery

  • On Jan. 6, an attempted strong-arm robbery was reported in the 11300 block of Hawks Ridge Terrace. The robbery occurred between 7:30 and 7:35 p.m. The victim was assaulted and the suspect attempted to removed property from the premises. The suspect was described as a black male between 25 and 30 years old, approximately 5'4" to 5'5" and weighing between 150 and 160 pounds.
  • On Jan. 6, a strong-arm robbery was reported in the 11400 block of Fruitwood Way between 7:00 p.m. and 7:10 p.m. The suspect assaulted a victim and stole property.
  • On Jan. 4, an attempted strong-arm robbery was reported near Christa McAuliffe Elementary School, located at 12500 Wisteria Dr. At 2:30 p.m., the suspect unsuccessfully attempted to remove property from a victim. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, between 22 and 25 years old, approximately 5'10'' to 6" and weighing between 150 and 160 pounds. 

Burglary

  • A 30-year-old Germantown man was arrested for a residential burglary that was reported on the 19500 block of Frederick Road on Jan. 6 between 4:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. The man forced entry into the residence and stole property.
  • On Jan. 9, an attempted residential burglary was reported on the 20000 block of Frederick Road. The suspect attempted to force entry sometime between 5 a.m. and 7:45 p.m. No property was stolen. 
  • On Jan. 4, a residential burglary was reported in the unit block of Royal Crown Court. The suspect gained entry to the residence and stole property sometime between 9:20 a.m. and 2:30 pm.
  • On Jan. 6, a residential burglary was reported in the 13000 block of Thunderhead Drive. The suspect forced entry to the residence and stole property somethime between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. 
  • On Jan. 5, a commercial burglary was reported at Waters Landing Golf Park, located at 20701 Crystal Rock Dr. The suspect forced entry to the business sometime between 5 p.m. Jan. 2 and noon on Jan. 5.  No property was stolen.
  • On Jan. 3, a residential burglary was reported on the 18200 block of Metz Drive. The suspect entered the residence and stole property sometime between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.
  • On Jan. 3, a residential burglary was reported on the 18800 block of McFarlin Drive The suspect forced entry to the residence sometime between 1 p.m. Jan. 2 and and 9:50 a.m. Jan. 3.  No property was reported stolen.
