CSX: Weather Spurs MARC Train Delays

Delays of 20 to 30 minutes possible, CSX officials say.

Brunswick Line commuters could face half-hour delays today due to severe weather.

Delays of 20-30 minutes were possible, CSX officials said, amid tornado watches and thunderstorm warnings issued through the evening.

CSX issued flash-flood related speed restrictions so that engineers could stop their trains in the event of a wash out, transit officials said in an emailed alert.

The Brunswick Line travels from Union Station to Martinsburg, W.Va., with stops in Germantown and Boyds along the way.

It was yesterday. Patch needs to remove these warning stories because there are a few who will think that applies to today (Wednesday)
