Germantown 'Gurgitator' Takes 6th at Wing Eating Contest

Germantown competitive eater Juliet "The Gurgitator" Lee placed sixth at the 2011 U.S. Chicken Wing Eating Championship on Sunday.
Lee consumed 3.89 pounds of buffalo wings in 12 minutes, according to the official results from the International Federation of Competitive Eating, which sanctioned the event during the National Buffalo Wing Festival in Buffalo, N.Y.
The win went to another D.C. area competitor, Sonya "The Black Widow" Thomas, from Arlington, Va., who consumed a record-breaking 6.43 pounds of buffalo wings — roughly 183 wings — in 12 minutes, according to the official results.
