Germantown Man Charged in Purse Snatching

Police: Female knocked down, robbed in Wheaton

 

An purse snatching in Wheaton has lead to charges against a Germantown man, according to Montgomery County Police.

Keith Hudson, 21, of Germantown, was charged with robbery and two counts of theft following an incident reported Thursday, Sept. 6, in the 11500 block of Bucknell Drive, according to a police spokeswoman and court records Patch accessed online. 

At around 8:30 p.m., a female reported being shoved by a robber, who took her purse, MCP Officer Angela Cruz told Patch.

A preliminary hearing for Hudson was scheduled for Oct. 5, court records show. 

Police said they believe another male suspect also was involved.
