Germantown Man Charged in Frederick Shooting
Perry Eugene Lee, 21, was also charged in a home invasion.
A Germantown resident already facing sex offense and home invasion charges in Frederick faces additional charges for his alleged involvement in a shootout in December, The Frederick News-Post reports.
Perry Eugene Lee, 21, of the 13000 block of Ansel Terrace, was charged with reckless endangerment, discharging a firearm in the city and carrying a dangerous concealed weapon, according to court records accessed online.
The shooting-related charges stem from a Dec. 8 incident in which Lee and a rival group got into fight and fired shots at each other, Frederick Police said on Monday. The shooting occurred in the 100 block of West All Saints Street in Frederick, according to the news report.
Police found shell casings from two different guns but were unable to determine who had fired shots, The Frederick-News Post reports.
Initial reports were that Lee was arrested after an alleged disturbance between a group of males arguing—Lee allegedly had a gun in his waistband, Patch has reported.
Frederick Police had already accused Lee of breaking into a home in Frederick and sexually assaulting a resident on the same day as the alleged shooting.
Police said they connected Lee to the shooting through their investigation of the sexual assault and home invasion.
Police described the shooting as an “isolated event.”
