Girls Basketball: Northwest, Gaithersburg Meet Again at Regional Final
Hoops powerhouses face off 1 p.m. Saturday, March 3, at Montgomery Blair High School.

On Saturday, the Northwest girls basketball team will get a do over.
In a rematch of last year's Regional Final, the Jaguars will face Gaithersbug, the 4A West division leaders.
Last year, foul trouble from three key Northwest players helped secure the Lady Trojan's 65-51 win — Gaithersburg's second consecutive regional championship.
Northwest lost to Gaithersburg 66-45, during this year's regular season.
The Jaguars entered the playoffs as the No. 2 seed, and advance after beating Walter Johnson 59-53 in overtime. Gaithersburg is fresh off a 65-42 win against Montgomery Blair.
Saturday's game is scheduled for 1 p.m. at Blair.
