Some Brunswick Line commuter trains will operate on a modified schedule on Friday, Aug. 31, Maryland transit officials said in an advisory Tuesday.

According to state transit officials:

• Train 875 (4:25 p.m. departure from Union Station) will terminate in Brunswick.
• Train 873 (3:30 p.m. departure from Union Station) will operate through to Martinsburg, WV, arriving at Harpers Ferry at 5:15 p.m., Duffields at 5:28 p.m. and Martinsburg at 5:50 p.m.
• Train 871 (Friday-only 1:30 p.m. departure from Union Station) will operate as scheduled.

The Brunswick Line runs from West Virginia to Washington, with MARC stations in Germantown, Gaithersburg and Rockville.
