I was there right after it happened. It was a tragic mess. The crotch rocket was in pieces and it's amazing that he was alive at the scene. The four in the van were older. Two crawled out the other 2 had to be pulled out but were alert and speaking. I would just like to say the response to the accident was so incredibly fast and well executed. Bravo to the Montgomery county fire and rescue! If the cyclist survives it will be due to their quick actions! I hope they are all doing OK today!

I was there too and have many pictures if the patch wants them. 1 person ( a man ) crawled out. 3 had to be cut out. The 3 cut out were responsive. One actually walked from van, after being cut out. It was horrific. The motorcycle was in pieces. Apparently he broke his neck ( what I heard from someone who knows him.) broken ribs, teeth , collarbone. Someone at scene said he was allegedly going at Hightower rate of speed and Van was turning left out of shopping center onto 355 and motorcycle hit rear end of van and van spun and over turned. I too was very impressed with the response time of getting these folks out and on way to hospital. Prayers to all who were involved and their families. SLOW DOWN people! And even if you have a green light..... LOOK both ways to ensure someone is not going too fast to stop. I have almost been hit several times when I have right of way, and someone is punching it to beat a red light.

As for the 4 in the SUV I hope and pray they are doing well too. I worked in an ER and I do not miss seeing accident victims and their families come through, it's heart breaking! God bless!
