Police: Pedestrian Struck in Germantown in Grave Condition

Collision occurred Monday at Wisteria Drive, near Germantown Road

 

(Updated 9:40 p.m.) A man struck by a car on Wisteria Drive near Germantown Road on Monday remains in grave condition, a Montgomery County Police spokeswoman confirmed.

A man—whom police are still trying to identify—was struck by a car traveling north. Police said the driver remained at the scene and is helping with the investigation.

The emergency call came in at around 6:30 p.m., Montgomery County Police spokeswoman Rebecca Innocenti told Patch.

Police described the pedestrian as a Hispanic male in his 30s.

The crash is still under investigation and police are asking witnesses or anyone who could help identify the pedestrian to call 240-773-6620 or the non-emergency line at 301-279-8000.
