Police, Local Organizations Host Vigil Honoring DC Sniper Victims
The public event is Thursday at the Goshen United Methodist Church.
GAITHERSBURG — As the region reflects on the 10th anniversary of the DC sniper shootings that terrorized residents for weeks, Gaithersburg will host a prayer vigil honoring the memory of the sniper victims.
The Montgomery County Police Department, the Victims’ Rights Foundation, the Montgomery Village Chiefs Football and Cheer Program will co-host the vigil Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at the Goshen United Methodist Church in Gaithersburg.
