Preschoolers Release 3,000 Ladybugs

Chesterbrook Academy capped its Earth Day celebration with a ladybug release Friday.

Alexandra Bawiec, 4, waits for her chance to release ladybugs — as many as her hands can carry — from a bag of about 1,500. Students at Chesterbrook Academy Preschool in Germantown released a total 3,000 ladybugs Friday as part of their Earth Day celebration.
