Report: Alleged NYPD Cannibal Planned To Kidnap, Cook Germantown Woman
FBI agent: Gilberto Valle targeted a former University of Maryland classmate, NBC Washington reported.
An alleged plot by a New York City police officer to kidnap, kill and cook a Germantown woman was foiled by the FBI, NBC Washington reported Wednesday.
Gilberto Valle, 28, of Queens, NY, is on trial in a Manhattan federal court. He is charged with conspiring to kidnap women and illegally accessing a government database to research potential victims, according to the report.
Kimberly Sauer, of Germantown, is a former classmate of Valle's at the University of Maryland, NBC Washington reported. Other women who prosecutors say were potential targets include a former high school classmate, two other former college classmates and an 18-year-old woman who attended Valle's high school alma mater.
An FBI agent who testified Tuesday said Valle's computer had a file titled "Abducting and Cooking Kimberly: A Blueprint," which included a photo of Sauer, according to the report.

Everyone has fantasies, some a little more graphic & sadistic than others. Until he actually went out & attempted to act on them, they are still just fantasy. Sick or not, its gonna be hard to convict him on thought process alone. He wrote about it, he didn't actually do it. His lawyer can argue he was writing a fictional book
