 nt dance studios and schools will present over 20 short dance performanc
 es featuring talented\, up-and-coming professional and non-professional 
 dancers ages 8-adult working in a wide array of dance styles. Groups wil
 l perform on BlackRock&rsquo\;s Mainstage and outdoor stage.\nCommunity 
 Dance Day is one week before the inaugural BlackRock DanceFest\, which f
 eatures performances by six highly accomplished professional dance compa
 nies: ClancyWorks Dance Company\;&nbsp\;Life\, Rhythm\, Move Project\;&n
 bsp\;Dance Place Step Team\; Dakshina/Daniel Phoenix Singh Dance Company
 \;&nbsp\;Maryland Youth Ballet\; and&nbsp\;Karen Reedy Dance.\nParticipa
 nts\nDance studios/schools applied to participate in Community Dance Day
  and were selected by a jury comprised of&nbsp\;Karen Bernstein\, Artist
 ic Director of BlackRock DanceFest\;&nbsp\;Charlotte Sommers\, BlackRock
  Executive Director\; and&nbsp\;Kimberly Marshall\, BlackRock dance facu
 lty member. The selected companies are from Montgomery County\, Frederic
 k County\, Md.\, Washington and Northern Virginia. They are:&nbsp\;\n\nH
