Many writers have a cache of short stories, poems, and other writing that they have crafted and refined over the years. Eventually, thoughts of creating an anthology of these pieces may begin to arise. But how does a writer go about putting together an anothology of his or her own work? What organizational methods are there, and how do you know what to include and what to leave out?

About the Speaker
Vonnie Winslow Crist, MS Professional Writing, Towson University, is the author of The Enchanted Skean (novel), The Greener Forest (stories), Owl Light (stories), River of Stars (poems), Essential Fables (poems), Leprechaun Cake & Other Tales (children's), and several eBooks. Finalist for the 2014 Compton Crook Award and a Pushcart Nominee, Vonnie has received awards from Maryland State Arts Council, Pen Women, and L. Ron Hubbard's Writers of the Future. Published in Canada, Australia, Finland, Spain, Italy, the UK, and the USA, Vonnie taught Poetry for MSAC's AiE Program for ten years. She's currently a staff writer at Harford's Heart Magazine and editor of The Gunpowder Review.
