Lloyd Dobler Effect performs in Germantown
GERMANTOWN — Montgomery County-bred Rockers Lloyd Dobler Effect will open BlackRock's free outdoor concert series. Bring a lawn chair and your picnic basket. No tickets or reservations necessary. 7 p.m. Saturday. BlackRock Center for the Arts, 12901 Town Commons Drive. Tribute to James Brown
GAITHERSBURG — An ode to the Godfather of Soul in Olde Towne. Concert may be cancelled or rescheduled due to weather or other circumstances. Free. Please call or visit the city's website to confirm. Concert Pavilion, 31 S. Summit Ave. 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Concert begins at 8:45 p.m.

'A Chorus Line' 
ROCKVILLE — Presented by Rockville Musical Theatre. F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre, Rockville Civic Center Park, 603 Edmonston Drive. Shows continue on Friday, Saturday and Sunday through Sunday, July 22. Ticket and showtimes are available online.
