- Life as a missionary can
be demanding, especially when one is providing critical pastoral presence to people who are constantly living in life-threatening situations.  Michael Joseph is someone who faces such situations daily in his work with the Restoration, Life and Peace Commission of the Council of Evangelical Churches in Columbia, South America. 


Joseph knows first-hand the challenges associated with
accompanying others in the midst of conflict. 
His life is dedicated to supporting peace building and human rights efforts for those living in Columbia.  He
is currently serving with Global Ministries in Columbia.  The Global Ministries Board is a joint mission effort of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and the United
Church of Christ.

people of faith need to know about the plight of the people of Columbia on June 19 at the United Church of Christ beginning at 6:30 pm.  The church is located at 13421 Clopper Road,Germantown, MD 20874 between Great Seneca Hwy and Germantown Road (Rt. 118).

be demanding, especially when one is providing critical pastoral presence to
