Have you thought of praying in nature by moving and dancing? By walking down a gentle trail into the New Year? Has such an opportunity called to you? This High Holy experience is in creation. Participate in this unique Zra'eem High Holy Days experience. Yonina Andrea Foster, Ph.D., ALEPH rabbinic student and Founder of Zra'eem shares her dream with you for High Holy Days 2012/5773. We will birth ourselves anew as we celebrate with meditation, prayer, and birthday cake. Together we will ponder the themes of the High Holy Days---Review, Rebirth,  Return, Recall, Renew. These ideas embrace traditional High Holy Day themes of tzedakah (righteous acts or deeds), tefillah (prayer and worship), teshuva (forgiveness and returning). We will begin with gentle nigunim (wordless melodies) as we provide a safe space to return to ourselves, go within, as we journey from Rosh Hashanah to Yom Kippur.

Build it they will come. Yonina is planning this unique High Holy Day experience. Choose to build the dream together. HiHos 2012/5773" here we come!

This upcoming High Holy Days, Yonina, together with you and yours, will lead and co-create programs filled with traditional themes. We will sit quietly, sing, meditate, read poetry, move gently, use rhythm instruments, and experience our prayers through sacred dance. You will have the option to attend and participate in an indoor program, or hit the trail with guiding meditations to lead you on your way. We will study Torah and hear the shofar (ram's horn) reaching into our hearts and souls preparing us for a New Year. If you are a shofar blower, bring your horn!!

Spouses, partners, and fellow travelers of all faiths are warmly welcomed.

There are many people who are sensitive and allergic to fragrances and we want everyone to breathe freely and easily. Therefore, we will be a fragrance free environment. Men and women, do not wear perfumes or colognes. Thank you for cooperation.
