Pet of the Week: Bliss

Featured animals are examples of the variety available at the Montgomery County Humane Society shelter and may not be available as of publication date.

Name: Bliss, 4-year-old neutered male, red tabby
ID: 351257

Meow!  I’ve been here for two months and I’m ready to start a new life in a loving home. I’m fine with kids.  Other cats?  Not so much.  A home where I can be the lone star would be best. I love playing fetch with a balled-up piece of paper.  It’s my favorite game ever.  I would definitely consider myself a lap cat, and I love to be carried.  The shelter staff describe me as very lovable and affectionate.  I might be the purr-fect fit for you – please come visit me today!

If you’re interested in adopting Bliss, contact the Montgomery County Humane Society, 14645 Rothgeb Drive, Rockville. Visit with the animals from noon to 7 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, and Thursday and Friday; or noon to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. The Humane Society is closed on Wednesday. Call 240-773-5960 or go to www.mchumane.org.
