St. Nick Arrives in Germantown on Motorcycle

Bike-riding Santa led charitable effort by Montgomery County Police to collect, deliver donations to Children's Inn in Bethesda. Germantown was a stop along the way.

Santa Claus swooped through Germantown on a motorcycle last week, on his way to drop off donations and gifts at Children’s Inn in Bethesda.

St. Nick stopped by the Upcounty Regional Services Center to visit with kids from Peppertree Children’s Center. Gaithersburg-Germantown Chamber of Commerce presented Santa with a cash donation.

Germantown’s 5th District Cmd. Luther Reynolds was part of the charity procession.

As part of a charitable effort, Montgomery County officers collect donations from the county’s six police districts, local businesses and private citizens to give to Children’s Inn, a nonprofit facility that is part of the National Institutes of Health and offers lodging for children receiving treatment at NIH and their families.
