Walk Honors 5-Year-Old Blood Cancer Survivor from Germantown

Light the Night Walk is Saturday at Rockville Town Center, a fundraiser for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

A 5-year-old blood cancer survivor from Germantown will be among the honorees at a Light The Night Walk at Rockville Town Center on Saturday.

Survivor Rett Bush is expected to join his parents, Adam and Kristen, and older brother, Cal, at the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society event.

Rett was diagnosed with acute lymphocytic leukemia in January 2011. While currently in remission, Rett's treatment will continue until 2013, according to event organizers.
