'A Winter's Evening of Music, Magic, and Merriment'

Exactly one year after its premiere production of The Dining Room, Upcounty Theatre will partner with in presenting 'A Winter's Evening of Music, Magic, and Merriment' on Saturday, January 28, at 7:30 p.m. at .

In exchange for $10 and a canned good (both collected at the door), each patron will experience a complete dinner from Agrodolce Restaurant in Germantown, followed by excellent local entertainers performing in a magic show and several small singing ensembles. The conclusion of the evening will consist of coffee/tea and desserts provided by Hilton Garden Inn and Homewood Suites Rockville-Gaithersburg.

Patrons are asked to arrive between 7 and 7:30 p.m. so they can choose seats inside the Dance Studio where the entire evening will be held.  This is the same venue as BlackRock's monthly Thursday evening "Bistro" performances where they serve food along with the evening's performance.

"We are very happy to be able to provide a more casual evening of entertainment with such a beautiful intimate stage," said Kitty Bradley, Upcounty Theatre's Artistic Director. "We want to give members of the Germantown community a chance to get to know us better and at the same time provide an easy way to fill the coffers of Germantown Help after the Holidays."

Don't miss your chance to enjoy lots of good food and entertainment. Put Saturday, January 28 on your calendar, find an appropriate canned good, and come to BlackRock Center for the Arts around 7 pm.  Each seat (for $10 and the can) will only be available at the door from 7 to 7:30 p.m.
