BlackRock Reels in 'Trout Fishing' Folk Duo

The following information was provided by BlackRock Center for the Arts:

(Germantown, MD)— For the final family matinee concert of its 10th Anniversary Season, BlackRock invites children and adults alike to come catch Trout Fishing in America on Saturday, April 21, at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.  The eclectic folk/rock duo of Keith Grimwood and Ezra Idlet met in Houston more than three decades ago and has been playing together ever since.

Their music has won multiple Parents’ Choice and Indie awards and they have been nominated for four Grammy Awards.  But don’t let the song titles like “My Hair had a Party Last Night,” and “Hello, My Chicken Thinks He’s a Dog” fool you: These very talented musicians have been hailed “a sublimely musical band” by the Boston Herald. The performance is recommended for ages 4 and older.
