Historic Silver Spring B&O Railway Station

Montgomery Preservation Inc. and the Silver Spring Historical Society Present “Memories of the Season” an exhibit of 1940’s Christmas ornaments and WWII memorabilia.
 
Friday and Saturday Dec. 3 – Jan. 6
 
“Memories of the Season” - MPI exhibits the private collection of Montgomery County holiday historian Vince Gibbs featuring 1940’s Christmas ornaments, WWII memorabilia and moving mechanical department store window display figures.  Exhibit open to public Fridays and Saturdays Dec 3 – Jan. 6,10am – 3pm, Dec. 23&24 10am – 2pm.

The 1945 Silver Spring Colonial Revival B&O Railroad Station is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and Montgomery County Master plan of Historic Sites.
