"Race to Nowhere" Screening

FROM MCPS EMAIL BLAST: The Clarksburg High School PTSA and Rocky Hill MS PTA invite you to a screening of a remarkable film, Race To Nowhere, created by a mother turned filmmaker examining the high-pressure culture of  schools and children's lives today.

Come and be a part of an extraordinary evening with an open, honest, and informative discussion session after the film.  This thought-provoking film has swept the nation and has been shown at other area schools with great acclaim.

The screening is open to all in our community – parents, grandparents, guardians, students, educators, neighbors, etc.  Please note that the film is rated PG-13 and is not appropriate for small children.

Tickets are available either by going to the CHS website http://www.montgomeryschoolsmd.org/schools/clarksburghs and selecting the Special Film Screening link in the News section of the home page or directly at http://rtnclarksburghighschool700.eventbrite.com.  Adult tickets are $10, and student tickets are $5.

Once purchased, you will receive an e-mail confirmation with your ticket attached.  You will need to print that ticket(s) and present it at the door on the evening of the film screening.  All students with a ticket will be required to show their ID at the door.

You can also visit www.RaceToNowhere.com to view a trailer of the film.
