Grab and Go Kids Planner: July 20 - 26

Grab your calendars! Here are this week's best bets for Germantown area families.

This weekend, visit our local farms during the .  Twelve farms are participating in this year's event, including .  If that doesn't grab you, try one of these local family-themed events this week:

TWILIGHT TOTS
Oh Susannah! brings her "parent-friendly" music to the RIO tonight with a concert for all ages. Please note, performances may be cancelled due to inclement weather.

MR GABE'S MUSIC FOR CHILDREN
Children 6 and under will enjoy singing along with Mr. Gabe and his guitar.  Pick up a free ticket at the Germantown Public Library prior to the show to reserve your space.

With hot weather forecasted this week, the Splash Playground - with its water maze, bucket drops and spraying animals - is the place to be!  After you've cooled off, enjoy 18 holes of miniature golf.  For more information, call 301-670-4680.

PASSPORT TO FUN EVENTS
This summer program from Michaels travels the globe via crafts such as sand art and tissue paper flowers.  These make-it, take-it events are designed for ages 3 and older. This week, explore the art and culture of Greece (Thursday), Mexico (Saturday) and China (Tuesday).

SATURDAY STORY AND HIKE

KIDS NIGHT OUT
Kids ages 2 to 6 are invited for a fun night of gym, music and art. Dinner of pizza and juice is included. Children do not have to be potty-trained.  Call 301-528-7655 to reserve your child's space.

U.S. NAVY CRUISERS
Families are invited to enjoy the contemporary rock sound of this specialty unit of the United States Navy Band.  Bring lawn chairs, a blanket and a picnic to enjoy on the lawn.  Concerts may be cancelled or brought indoors due to inclement weather.  Call 301-528-2260 for more information.
