LuLa Washington Dance Theatre will perform at BlackRock Center for the Arts next fall, Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation officials announced Monday.
The Los Angeles-based dance company has scheduled tour stops in Germantown on March 7, 2013 and March 8, 2013. The performance was funded through a grant from the Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation, which is providing $248,900 in support of touring performing arts ensembles along the East Coast through its ArtsConnect Program.
Also through the grant, comes New York City-based Brian Brooks Moving Company’s performance this year at the American Dance Institute in Rockville — Nov. 18 and Nov. 19, 2012, according to the dance company’s website.
