On Stage | Lloyd Dobler Effect Comes Home for the Holidays

The Montgomery County-based indie rockers will perform at BlackRock Center for the Arts on Friday, Dec. 9.

Indie alternative-rockers Lloyd Dobler Effect will return to BlackRock Center for the Arts for an acoustic holiday concert on Friday.

“The Experience Holiday Show” will include LDE originals, according to BlackRock’s publicist, and comes after the band’s summer acoustic show at the Germantown arts venue in celebration its album release for “The Experience Unplugged.”

Montgomery County-based Lloyd Dobler Effect is comprised of Phil Kominski, Chris Bruno, Donnie Williams, Carlos Nalda and Patrick Hughes, along with Elizabeth Coyle Kominski (vocals), Albert Ketler (tenor saxophone) and Chris Brooks (keyboards). The band has performed in more than 40 states and 13 countries, opening for Carlos Santana, Steve Winwood, The Fray, Jane’s Addiction and Eminem.
