The Waters Landing Association has brought a much-needed farmers market to Germantown. We hope to make this an ongoing event, but that will only happen if the farmers do enough business, so come on by!

Here is a note from Dragonfly Farms for this week's market:

We will have fresh fruit and vegetables for the community Saturday mornings 9-1.

You can also shop before 9 am since we arrive at 7 to set up.

Please visit us as we will be there every week rain or shine at least until the end of October.

This week’s fruit include prune plums, summer rambo apples, and ripe and tasty suncrest peaches. On the vegetable side, we’ll be bringing: fresh picked yellow and red tomatoes, our delicious chemical free orange cherry tomatoes, red salad tomatoes, Russian banana fingerlings, sweet onions, elephant garlic, red French shallots, heirloom green beans, green and yellow zucchini, rosa bianca and black eggplant, green peppers, red peppers, green/orange peppers, hot jalapeno peppers, sweet banana peppers, sweet corn, beets, kennebec and viking heirloom potatoes, okra, and kale. We also have artisanal cheese, Maryland honey, local eggs, and sunflowers this week.

Unfortunately, we have discontinued our bakery items; but, we are talking to someone in the community who is a a budding pastry chef . She would like to bring baked items and jams and jellies in the future.

We’ve removed the ability to reply as we work to make improvements. Learn more here
