Firehouse Subs: Yum or Yuck?

The sandwich chain recently opened in Germantown. What do you think of it?

There’s a new sandwich shop promising powerhouse subs on Germantown’s eatery-laden Century Boulevard.

Firehouse Subs hosted its official grand opening on July 17. It’s a fast-casual franchise founded by former firefighters. The menu offers “Hook and Ladder” is piled high with turkey and ham and the Firehouse Meatball Sub—keeping with the firefighter theme.

The inside of the new Germantown shop is decorated with memorabilia donated from the Germantown Volunteer Fire Department. There’s also a hand-painted mural of Germantown firefighters putting out a blaze.
