Once tow trucks are able to move the tractor trailer, I-270 southbound will be reopened, Corbin said.

Update 3:46 --- All northbound lanes of Interstate 270 have reopened and one southbound lane of I-270 has reopened, after a crash near the southbound exit for Father Hurley Boulevard shut down the Interstate at around 3:00 p.m. Monday.

Two southbound lanes are expected to reopen by 4 p.m., said Charlie Gischlar, a spokesman for the State Highway Administration.

Gischlar said that a cement truck and a crash attenuation truck were involved in the crash. The vehicles were part of a crew contracted to do work on the highway.
