Crime Summary: Man Robbed at Bus Stop

The following arrest information was supplied by the Montgomery County Police Department for Sept. 3 to Sept. 11. It does not indicate a conviction.

Montgomery County Police are looking for two suspects tied to an alleged bus stop robbery in Germantown on Monday, Sept. 10. Police said at around 5:15 a.m., the suspects struck a male victim at Shakespeare Road and Observation Drive.

The suspects were described as black males, between 20 and 25 years old. One suspect was about 5’7” at 160 pounds and was wearing a baseball cap; the other was described as between 5’9 and 5’10, and between 165 and 180 pounds.

An attempted burglary was reported at 11:20 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, at Damascus Hair Stylists, 26233 Ridge Road in Germantown.

burglary was reported Monday, Sept. 10, at 8:40 a.m. in the 18900 block of Coral Grove Terrace in Germantown. The suspect was described as a male wearing a black baseball cap and all black, baggy clothing.

A burglary was reported Monday, Sept. 10, at 4:41 p.m. in the 18800 block of Sparkling Water Drive. Police said there were signs of forced entry.

Two thefts from vehicles were reported in this beat: one on Dovedale Way and one on Cottage Field Court in Germantown.  Police said there were signs of forced entry. GPS units were reported missing. 

Two incidents of thefts from vehicles were reported in Poolesville:

  • Two unlocked vehicles from the same driveway in 17600 block of Shores Drive, overnight Thursday, Sept. 6, to Friday, Sept. 7. Money was reported missing
  • A vehicle was entered in the 19300 block of Cissel Manor overnight Sunday, Sept. 9, to Monday, Sept. 10.  A large boom box, iPod charger, CD’s, $12 and an FM transmitter were reported missing.
