From 9/11, A Renewed Sense of Teamwork

Montgomery County Police Cmd. Luther Reynolds is the leader of Montgomery County Police’s 5th district in Germantown. But on Sept. 11, Reynolds led a station in Bethesda.

He said one of the biggest outcomes since the attacks was a renewed interest in community policing.

"We as a community needed to come together and work as a team," Reynolds said. "This was important because the safety of our community was at stake."
