UPDATE: Delays on MARC Brunswick Line

MTA: Mechanical problems had sent train back to Union Station.

Update (5:51 p.m.) ---  A delayed MARC train on the Brunswick Line, Train 877,  has left Union Station after mechanical issues caused delays, according to the Maryland Transit Administration. The MTA is advising passengers for Point of Rocks, Brunswick and West Virginia to board train 877 because Train 879 is full. 

Update (5:44 p.m.) --- Maryland Transit Administration is warning MARC Brunswick Line passengers that Train 877, scheduled for a  4:55 p.m. Washington departure for Martinsburg, W.Va.,  has returned to Union Station due to a mechanical problem. Passengers should expect significant overcrowding on the 5:40 p.m. train. Train 877 will operate through to Martinsburg, making only its regular stops once the engine is repaired, according to the MTA.
