NWS: Germantown Spared From Major Winter Storm

Only slight chance of snow Friday night, according to the National Weather Service

In Germantown, Friday is predicted to be rainy, with calm winds and a 20 percent chance of snow, according to the National Weather Service.

The region is out of the path of a major winter storm the NWS expects to strike New England and the Northeast today through Saturday. As much as one to two feet of snow is forecast for New York City through Maine, in addition to wind gusts as high as 75 miles per hour.
