Missing Germantown Teen May be Pregnant

Police are asking the public for information concerning a missing Germantown teen.

According to 5th district police officer Mike Kwarciany, Hodge's father has seen information on Facebook leading him to believe his daughter may be five to six months pregnant and staying with an older boyfriend. These suspicions have not been confirmed.

Zaphire Acevedo-Hodge, 16, was last seen on Oct. 1.

According to a statement from the police, "Police and family are concerned for her welfare due to her age and medical condition. There is no foul play suspected."

Kwarciany said Hodge is a "frequent runaway," with between six and 12 missing persons reports in the past. Police have confirmed that Zaphire Acevedo-Hodge is the sister of James Acevedo-Hodge, 14, who has been missing since April 7. Kwarciany said he is not aware of any prior missing persons reports for James Acevedo-Hodge.

Both siblings live in the Canterbury Apartments, on the 20000 block of Sweetgum Circle.
