Week Ahead in Weather: Here Comes Winter

Thanksgiving was perfect but it won't last.

The week already got off to a chilly start, with Monday's forecast calling for highs in the 40s and lows in the mid-30s, according to the National Weather Service.

Here comes that pre-winter chill.

Rain—and maybe some snow—is expected Tuesday morning, when temperatures are expected to reach the low 40s.

Tuesday night, you can also expect cloudy skies and below-freezing temperatures, dropping to the high 20s.

The sun should shine Wednesday, and temperatures will reach the mid-40s. Wednesday night skies will stay clear, and temperatures again go sub-freezing, dropping to the high 20s.

Thursday will bring more sun and temperatures in the low 40s, dropping to the high 20s at night.

Friday should warm up a little, with temperatures in the high 40s, and sunny skies.
