Brookside Gardens is an award-winning display garden in the heart of Montgomery County.  This "in the field" class will cover how to create visual impact with your flower and garden images. Join local nature photographer Marsha Liebl as she explains easy to learn techniques that will take you to the next step in your photography.  Bring your point-and-shoot or 35mm camera and spend a fun morning with other photography enthusiasts. No tripods necessary. Meet in front of the Visitor Center at 8am.

About the photographer:

A professional nature photographer since 1999, Marsha Liebl’s images have won top awards in many local and regional exhibits and competitions, are in numerous public and private collections, are sold at Strathmore Hall, have been published in Shutterbug and Bethesda Magazine, and one (so far) has been purchased by a greeting card company.

Marsha has taught nature and macro photography for the Lifelong Learning Institute at Montgomery College since 1999, and has also taught for the Washington School of Photography and Capital Photography Center. In October of 2011, Marsha began an affiliation with the Animal Welfare League of Montgomery County as their official photographer.
