Join us on Sunday, February 9th for a winter hike through the woods. With the leaves gone, we will look for and identify birds, their nests and learn how they survive during the winter. After the hike we will warm up with hot chocolate by the fire, have a story and make a craft to take home for the birds in your yard. The hike will begin at 1:15. Please arrive early to allow time to sign-in. Dress appropriately for the weather and bring binoculars if you have them to enhance your experience.
This event is free and targeted for children ages 5-10, but all ages are welcome. It is open to everyone; you do not need to be an IWLA member to attend.
