Wood Carving Demonstration by Kathleen Weibel

Hagerstown Maryland wood carver Kathleen Wiebel will be demonstrating her carving techniques and skills Saturday December 21st, 2013 Noon to 3P.M. at The Fine Arts Company. Kathleen is a seasoned carver whose work has gained much notoriety. Her carvings in a multi-million dollar kitchen was featured on HGTV's "10 Most Amazing Kitchens." Her current work reflects her growing fondness for Art Nouveau style. Kathleen trained with master wood carver Konstantinos Papadakis from 1977 through 1981 until she moved to Hagerstown where she set up her studio and has been working with furniture makers and cabinet companies to make one of kind functional masterpieces.
