Giant Food Presents National Center for Children and Families with $10,000

Giant Food recently presented the National Center for Children and Families with $10,000 in celebration of Black History Month.

In celebration of Black History Month and the 50th anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s “I Have a Dream” speech, Giant Food of Landover, Md. presented a check in the amount of $10,000 to the National Center for Children and Families (NCCF) at the Brentwood Giant Food in Washington, D.C. Dr. Sheryl Brissett Chapman, executive director of NCCF, accepted the donation, and was recently featured in Giant Food’s Profiles in Excellence publication.
