The cameras fixed along portions of Great Seneca Highway on Sunday weren’t there to catch speeders in the act.
Film crews were taping scenes for an educational law enforcement video about the driving behaviors of older motorists, according to Catherine Matthews, the director of the in Germantown.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration was responsible for the project, with help from the Montgomery County Police Department, Cpt. Thomas Didone told Patch.

Portions of Great Seneca Highway and Richter Farm Road were closed Sunday.
Filming continued Monday in the Kentland’s region, Didone said.
