We lost our 7-month old, beige lab-mix puppy named Sahara on Monday nigth (sept 9) in Germantown. Sahara is a medium sized (40-45 pounds) and very friendly dog, who has a black leather collar with tags.
Sahara’s most recent spotting was around 6:00 pm at the intersection of Kings Valley Rd & Preakness Dr Damascus, MD 20872. We spent two hours looking for her, and we had a friend who trains hound dogs come to the site of the spotting. There was a lot of wind and it was dark, so it was hard for the hound to follow Sahara's trail, but she did identify her scent. Sahara's general trajectory seems to be towards the north and a bit to the east.

If seen, please also try to take a photo of Sahara, or if you are able to approach her please do so very slowly and with food and/or water as she seems to be acting very timid.
