Bartlett blames NDAA indefinite detention vote on "I didn't read the bill. They told me it was fixed"

Incumbent didn't read it indefinite detainemnet vote.

I talked with Bartlett yesterday at the MC GOP Convention and yes this was his excuse. Of course, he didn't immediately sponsor legislation to correct his mistake as due process right like trials and habeas corpus are, I suppose, not that important in his mind.

Lets just give him a pass on this one. After all he is 85 and we don't want him working too hard read all those bills. Let just let him vote for the bills that "they" tell him to. After ten terms in Congress he has grown to trust the leadership. He told me that "You have to trust someone. Don't you."

Let's all give Roscoe a big "sieg heil" on this one. He is right in tune with the mood of the country. We need to place more trust in Congress. Especially the leadership.
