Police: Girl ran into the street, struck side of van
A 4-year-old girl who was hospitalized after being struck by a car in Germantown on Saturday, had run into the street and struck the side of a van, a Montgomery County Police spokesman told The Gazette.
Initial reports were that a pedestrian was struck on Summer Oak Drive at around 5:10 p.m., several news outlets have reported.
The child was flown to the hospital and was “conscious and alert,” according to WTOP.
