Crash Closes Part of Watkins Mill Road
Two people transported to hospital after late morning crash
Due to a collision, the portion of Watkins Mill Road from the traffic circle at Blunt Road through Greenriver Terrace is closed, said Montgomery County Police spokeswoman Angela Cruz.
Emergency responders were dispatched to a two passenger vehicle collision at Watkins Mill and Blunt Road at 11:20 a.m., where they found one vehicle flipped on its side, said Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Service spokesman Cpt. Oscar Garcia.
It took responders 15 minutes to free a passenger from the flipped vehicle. Garcia said two people were transported to the hospital at around 11:45 a.m.
