Crime Summary: Animal Clinic Burgled, Strong-Arm Robbery Reported

The following arrest information was supplied by the Montgomery County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A strong-arm robbery was reported in the 12300 block of Middlebrook Road in Germantown at 10:50 a.m. Friday, Aug. 31. Police said two men forcefully removed property from the alleged victim. The suspects are described as:

      Suspect #1: B/M, 18-25 years old, 5’8”-5’9”, dreadlocks
      Suspect #2: B/M, 18-25 years old, 5’10”-5’11”, 200 lbs.

A 19-year-old Germantown man is in police custody following reports of an alleged aggravated assault in the 19700 block of Middlebrook Road in Germantown, at 7:20 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 1. A police spokeswoman said the suspect threatened the victim with a knife and was arrested.

A commercial burglary was reported at the Diamond Veterinary Clinic located at 17000 Longdraft Road in Germantown on Sunday, Sept. 2, between 5 and 6 a.m., and on Monday Sept. 3, between 5 and 6 a.m. 

An aggravated assault was reported in the 18100 block of Metz Drive in Germantown at 4 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 2. Police said a male assaulted the alleged victim then fled. The suspect is described as a male between 5’8”-5’10” and 160 to 170 pounds.

A residential burglary was reported in the 28300 block of Honeysuckle Drive in Damascus on Monday, Aug. 27.  Police did not provide further details.
