Crime Summary: Attempted Robbery, Vehicle-Related Thefts Reported

The following arrest information was supplied by the Montgomery County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

An attempted robbery was reported in the 19900 block of Dunstable Circle in Germantown on Tuesday, Jan. 22, at around 6:30 a.m. The adult female victim was sitting inside of her locked vehicle when the suspect tried to open the doors. When he realized that the doors were locked, he began banging on the driver’s side window. He eventually fled with nothing. Police described the suspect as a black male, between 19 and 23 years old, 5-foot-7, 150 pounds, wearing light blue, button down jacket.

A vehicle-related theft was reported in the 13200 block of Country Ridge Drive in Germantown on Friday Jan. 18, at around 3:55 a.m.  No forced entry. Nothing taken.

A residential burglary was reported in the 13000 block of Prairie Knoll Court in Germantown on Monday, Jan. 21 between 7:15 and 11 a.m.  Forced entry. Property taken.

A residential burglary was reported in the 23700 block of Old Hundred Road in Dickerson between 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, and 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19.  Forced entry. Property taken.
